email notification shows JQL language

Good Day can you please assist me, when an issue is assign to an assignee the email format shows JQL language instate of a normal email language

e.g {color:#000000}Good day,{color} {color:#201f1e}

 

is there a way to change this?

Hello Angie,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

On Jira, there are two options that change the email format to plain text, so the notifications will show the way you mentioned.

To fix that, please go to Jira settings > System > Default user preferences and confirm if the “Default outgoing email format” is set to HTML.

After that, go to Jira settings > Products > Email requests and make sure the “HTML email parsing” is enabled. 

Please, give it a try and let us know how it goes.
