Will asset objects be removed if you accidentally downgrade to JSM Standard and then upgrade to JSM Premium a few days later?
Situation: Due to an error in the annual renewal process, the JSM subscription was downgraded from Premium to Standard. Since we require the Premium features, particularly assets, we will upgrade again to Premium. Will the Premium features be restored to their state before the downgrade? Will the asset data be available again?

I know Atlassian does not provide data specific backups (unless they break it themselves) so honestly I would not be surprised if the data is gone.
However only they will be able to provide you with a conclusive answer about that.
