As support engineers, we are wondering and need clarifications, if this change "Issue" > "Work" will also change the wordings for Jira configurations side of the things such as : Issue types, Issue type Screen scheme and that sort, would they also change to Work types, Work type Screen Schemes?
Yes it will. This is where the changes will be mostly noticed as this is a language change and anywhere in the configurations or where you take actions where you today will see "issue/s" that will be changed to work.
Hi, Will there any impact on APIs front? Like will the APIs also be renamed like /issues will become /work? Will any Jira library components be renamed for us to access ?
Yes and no. The API will support Issues for now to avoid too much interference for us customers. In the long run Issues will also be renamed in the API's, but that will be communicated well ahead of time so we have time to adjust our scripts. I suggest you keep an eye on the developer community so you can follow that progress if you are not already doing so.
