Active Directory Users Cannot Login

Hello,

we are unable to resolve problem with auth of active directory users.

We did setup of AD + specific AD Group in JIRA, we successfully fetched selected group of users from AD, but any of these users are not able to login.

At the login page, they get invalid credentials error and at AD testing tool we get at last step following error:

Test user can authenticate : Failed
Account with name <MY_LDAP_ID> failed to authenticate: Uncategorized exception occured during LDAP processing; nested exception is javax.naming.NamingException: [LDAP: error code 80 - 80090304: LdapErr: DSID-0C090400, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 20ee, v1db1\u0000]

We followed suggestion with timeouts values increase and disabling of Following referrals (this made groups&users sync from AD non functional, so we re-enabled it), nothing helped.

Any ideas please?

Hi Lukas,

Not sure if you have checked the "Application Access" tab in global administration. Please verify the AD group which you synced to Jira has a proper "Jira Software" privilege here.
