Add a new issue type QAlity Test to drop down under a story on the scrum board

I am using QAlity Test Issue type for QA testing.  This ticket is linked as a "test" to the story.  How can I have the QA ticket drop down with the subtasks for the story in the scrum board?

Would like the issue to appear here under the story

It appears under everything else

Hi @Trena Norcia ,

I represent Customer Care Support at SolDevelo, the developers of the QAlity Plus/QAlity Free app.

I have tried to reproduce your Scrum board configuration and it seems like your screenshot shows that the board is grouped by a Subtask, meaning that all issues shown under your story are subtasks.

Because of that, with such a configuration, only subtasks can be placed under the tasks, stories etc. and as QAlity Test Cases are a separate issue type from a subtask, they unfortunately cannot be assigned as a child issue and viewed in a manner you requested.

However, as a workaround, you can switch the grouping to Epic, as you can add any type of issue (including QAlity Test Cases) as a child issue and view them in a drop down menu under the epic:

I hope that my answer has pointed you in a right direction. If you need additional help, let me know!

All the best,
Tomasz

@Trena Norcia

May be you have a missing label, component,.. that's why the issue is displaying under Everything Else.

Check your board Swimlanes
