Hi,
we have installed Confluence on a server that will later on be world-accessible. Currently there are only firewall entries for https://www.atlassion.com at port 443. This allows us to see that updates are available for add-ons, but clicking on the 'Update'-Button leads after some waiting time to a message saying that there are problems with the connection to the server.
We have found a workaround consisting in downloading the add-on files to another server to install them later on using the 'upload app' function. However it would be nice if the 'update' would work as intended.
Is there another server we have to include in our firewall's allowed hosts list, or does the update function use another port (like 22)?
Confluence Version 6.13 (Linux Server)
Regards,
Jean
Dear @[deleted],
have a look at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/upm/configuring-marketplace-connectivity-306350947.html
You will need some additional servers to reach.
So long
Thomas
