Hello!

I'm trying to assign issues to an epic like this:

https://neobits.atlassian.net/rest/agile/1.0/epic/WEB-152/issue

this is the posted JSON:

{"issues":["WEB-249"]}

This returns an error:

The requested epic cannot be viewed because it either does not exist or you do not have permission to view it.

I can view both WEB-249 and WEB-152 as the API user, but this operation still fails with permissions problem. Please help! :)

Hello, Nikola.

Indeed, JIRA REST API is not currently working for Epics on Next-Gen projects. All calls are failing with a 404 and permission error message, as you mentioned.

We've reported a bug with our development to fix it:

Agile rest api for epic is not working for Next-gen projects

Please, watch the bug report above in order to receive any updates about the progress of the fix.
