Hello

I am attempting to set up my account and currently working on the advanced roadmap hierarchy configuration. I am on the 30 day free trial for premium (if that matters).

I selected the premade template that has initiatives above epics. However, I do not have the option to edit the "advanced roadmap hierarchy" which was said in this doc:

Advanced-planning-questions/Advanced-Roadmap-Issue-Hierarchy-configuration-adding-an-issue/qaq-p/2268111

" To view the existing hierarchy configuration: In the navigation bar, go to Plans > Settings, and then select Advanced Roadmaps hierarchy configuration from the sidebar."

It seems silly to have a 30 day free trial and have sections only available if you purchase. So I am sure that is not the case.

Hello @Tulip Ai

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Those instructions are valid for Jira Data Center, not Jira Cloud.

To modify the Issue Type Hierarchy in Jira Cloud you click on the Plans menu option then select Settings from the submenu.

That will change the navigation panel on the right. There you want to click on the option labeled Hierarchy Configuration.

That will take you to the screen in Jira Cloud where you modify the issue type hierarchy. You will also see that the navigation panel on the left has changed again and you are in the Issue Type Hierarchy option.

The alternate path to the same location is to click on the gear icon near your avatar and select Issues. That will take you to the screen that includes the navigation panel that has the Issue Type Hierarchy option.
