I am working with exclusively kanban boards-- is agile poker helpful in anyway?
Does it add any value to reports that can be generated by JIRA Kanban?
Hi @Aileen Ly,
we have some clients that are using Agile Poker on kanban boards. Like Nick wrote, it might be useful in judging the sizes of issues.
It really depends on your process. You can integrate it into your workflow if your organization requires some estimates prior to starting any work.
You can easily add an additional custom field called story points to your tasks. The field is to to be populated with estimations results and will be visible throughout the life of the project.
You can use an app like ScrumPoker for Jira to do the estimations with your team and export the results to Jira tasks. It is helpful because you'll keep a record of previous estimates and will serve as a reference for future estimations.

Probably not, as Kanban generally means you aren't planning.
IT might be useful in judging the sizes of issues if you have a not-quite-kanban process where you do estimate stuff before starting it.
