I searched a lot and couldn't find an article that says this officially.
If I archive a project/space (JSM/Jira), how long can I go back and restore it?
The information is different everywhere, doesn't always show this function and differs between project types.
Thanks

Hi and welcome,

The confusion you experienced is understandable because Jira has two different removal methods with different restore timeframes:

  1. Trash → 60-day limit before permanent deletion
  2. Archive → No time limit (indefinite storage)

The archive feature is only available on Premium/Enterprise plans, which is why the information varies depending on which documentation you're reading and which project type you're using.

Hi Omri - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There is no time limit for when you can restore an Archived project.
