Automation - Is it possible to check if initiator is "Automation for Jira"

Hi,

We want to store the last updated date and time in a custom field if initiator are Users because due to some other Automations we have that are updating some fields, it causes for the system's last updated date to be updated which are actioned by "Automations for Jira".

Let's say my trigger is "Issue updated", is it possible in Jira Automation to check if initiator is not "Automations for Jira"?

Hello @Maria Mariella Bautista

You could use a Smart Value Condition to compare an attribute of the  {{initiator}} smart value to the value of that attribute for the Automation for Jira user.

Learn more about smart values for user fields, including the rule initiator, here.
