I have set up a date field called "Approved" and I want to store the date of when a request is approved.
I set up an automation to do that but it fails because "No fields or field values to edit for issues".
I find it confusing to set up the field properly. I have custom screens for edit, create and view action. I added the date field only in the view action as I don't want it to make writable when creating the issue (either on the customer portal or internally in Jira) and I don't want it to be editable.
How do I achieve that?

Please try adding to the Edit screen. For Automation to edit the field it must be editable.
