Hello everyone.
We have activated the Checklist app from HeroCoders.
It works relatively well and using the checklists helps us a lot.
There is just one problem:
Jira creates a 'Default checklist' in new and existing tickets.
The name of this checklist is colored blue in the ticket and is clickable. But nothing happens when you click on it. The name cannot be changed either.
This default CL bothers us and I would like to delete or rename it or set Jira so that it is not created in the first place.
How do I achieve this?
I hope someone can help.
Best regards
Andreas
Hello @Andreas Kemper
My name is Gracjan. I'm a Customer Success Expert at HeroCoders, the team behind the Checklist app.
The Default Checklist is a placeholder name. It is shown whenever you have multiple checklists, and you should be able to edit it.
I see that if you use tabs view, even with one checklist, it is visible, and you can't edit it unless you add a second checklist. This seems like something we could improve.
Can we join on a short call to review if that's the case for you? I can show you around and help you with the setup.
If you agree, you can schedule a call here.
Cheers!
Gracjan
Hello Gracjan.
That sounds good, but it only almost works.
The option “Enable multiple checklists per issue” is not activated in my project.
This means that you can only create one checklist in a ticket.
When a new ticket is created, a default checklist is created immediately.
This list is displayed in blue bold type and is clickable (clicking has no effect).
You can create items in this list and use them as normal. Unfortunately, this list cannot be renamed or deleted.
This is no good because it affects all our projects.
Thanks for your help and best regards
Andreas
