Is it possible to create a filter in advanced issue search for whether issues are on the 'Board' or 'Backlog'?

For one example, I want to search for issues that are 1) on the Board but are not 2) part of release X. I can search by fix version, but not by Board/Backlog status. I also can't filter the board in a next-gen project.

Hello @Jared

At this stage there is no JQL clause that allows you to find (or exclude) issues in the backlog of a Next-Gen project. This was raised by others in the Atlassian community last year.

Workaround you could just labeling those issues and that will allow you to use advance search and other bulk actions on simple JQL of "labels = xxx".
