Several months ago I started having problems when bulk updating fix versions. I'm able to go through the process as normal. Clicking which issues I want to bulk update, clicking the field I want to update and adding the appropriate fix version, going all the way through to confirmation where it shows 'Done", which I click on as normal. But the fix version does not get added. There have been times when there was a delay and it eventually was added. But now it is not getting added at all.
Hello @Amanda Ross ,
Welcome to the community,
I understand that you're having trouble with bulk updating fix versions.
Here are a few steps to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue:
Permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to edit the fix versions on the issues you're trying to update. You need to have 'Edit Issues' permission for all the issues in the bulk operation.
Field Configuration: Check if the fix version field is properly configured and is available on the edit screen of the issues you're trying to update. If the field is not present on the screen, the bulk update might not apply correctly.
Browser Issues: Sometimes, browser extensions or cache can cause issues with web applications. Try performing the bulk update in an incognito window or another browser to see if that resolves the problem.

Permissions have not changed. I was able to bulk update fix versions with no problems until recently.
Configurations have not changed. Nothing has changed but updates from Atlassian to Jira Cloud.
I can try it in an incognito window and see if that works.

Incognito window worked. I'll try clearing cache as well. Thank you.

Hey @Amanda Ross
The field Fix version should be added to the screen for the work item you are updating the value for. Also, check your permission to the work items you are bulk updating.
I hope this answers your question.
