Business hold status in workflow

Hi,

In Jira, when a workflow status like "Business Hold" is set, it should reflect the state where the issue is put on hold.

is there is solution for this.

The Status field for an issue can reflect only one value.

If you have an issue that is in the status "In Progress", and you change the Status to "Business Hold", then "Business Hold" is the Status that will be shown for that issue.

If you want to keep track that the issue was in the "In Progress" status, you will have to record that in a separate field using either a workflow Post Function or an Automation Rule.

Alternately you can use something other than the Status field for noting that the issue is in a "Business Hold" state, such as a Label, or another customfield.
