Can I create a kanban board with several columns mapped with the same status but different filters?

Hi,

I would like to have different columns in my board for

  • To do - blockers
  • To do - critical bugs
  • To do - others bugs
  • To do - improvements

i.e. in each column I would display items based on their status but also on queries (type, priority).

I understand the easy work around is to use swim lanes (queries) + columns (status), however my users would be keen to use only columns.

Is this doable?

Thanks. Charles

Hi Charles,

I am not on the Jira Team, but I will try to help.

If you're willing to modify your workflow you could have multiple statuses that all represent ToDo but are mapped to the one column.

So your statuses would be

  • To do - blockers
  • To do - critical bugs
  • To do - others bugs
  • To do - improvements

I hope that helps!
