Can I create automated alerts or notifications based on the Created Vs. Resolved chart gadget?

We have the chart in a dashboard but would like to be notified if the ratio of created to resolved issues changes beyond a certain threshold. We would like to avoid having to reactively check this dashboard.

Dear @Hayley Young ,

your requirement is not that easy to fulfill. Basically this would require a compare of two JQL queries, which is done inside the gadget. The gadgets compare functionality is not available outside itself. So you will need a (commercial) plugin that reports this automatically.

Of cause you can do this without infesting in another plugin, but then you need some scripting skills. Let me know, what you decide to do.

For the plugin way, just wait. Most probably one of the vendors will recommend their solution.  ;)

Thank you! I did research to find plugins that would help with this request, but came up short. Hoping someone in the community knows of a solution.
