Can boards' be set to treat multiple selected quick filters as "or" instead of "and"?

For some quick filters we use, the "and" logic makes sense, but other quick filters it would be helpful to select multiple but have them be treated as "or". Is there a way to toggle how the board logic reacts to multiple quick filters being selected?

That feature does not exist yet, and there are a couple of related suggestions requesting it:

A workaround would be to create combined quick filters for the AND / OR cases, although that may be confusing to board users.

I thought about that workaround of combined quick filters too, but the field in question, like the 'Epic link' example in the ticket above, would have too many possible variations to create quick filters for each of the possible AND / OR cases for the values in the field.
