Can original estimate be non mandatory field for standard issue types?

Can I make original estimate field as non mandatory field for standard issue types. 

I want it mandatory only for sub tasks.

Hi @Asha ,

To make original estimate field Mandatory only for subtask you can follow the below steps:-

1. Create a new field configuration and make "Time Tracking" field as required.
2. Create a new field configuration scheme and associate subtask issue type with the above field configuration created.
3. Go to the project settings and associate this newly created Field configuration scheme with that project.

Now when you create any subtask in that project the "Original Estimate" field will be mandatory and other standard issue types will follow the default field configuration.
