Can the color of the time line bar of a Story be changed?

On a time line I can right click the bar (Is that the correct name) for an Epic and change the color. For an odd reason when I right click on a Story setting the color is not an option. Can the bar color of a Story be changed

For epics, the Epic Color field was sunset (even though the field is still there) and now the Issue Color field is used.  That is what you are changing for the Epic.

It appears the Issue Color field can be modified for other issue types, like Story, Task, etc., but it does not impact the Timeline view for at least the Free and Standard license levels.  For advanced roadmaps in Premium and Enterprise levels it appears to be more configurable: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/add-color-to-issues-on-your-advanced-roadmaps-timeline/
