Can we import data (external) to an exsisting prject

I have data (cvs) that i need to import into an existing jira project
how can I do that as it shows me to import data while creating a new project

You cannot import all Project's task from a single csv file.

I have excel files with all projects (tasks) as per jira rows and columns 
now I want to import that into existing jira project
