Can we use SQL 2014 standard for JIRA - Agile?

I am afraid SQL 2104 is not yet a supported platform as per Supported Platforms.

Here is the feature request https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-41971 to start supporting it.

We are planning to buy JIRA - Agile, but we have SQL 2014. All our applications are running with SQL 2014.

If we buy JIRA, need to maintain separate DB for. that is concern.
