I created a project using the onboarding employee template and would like to add a backlog so that the manager can move items to work into "to do" for each week. Unfortunately, there is no "Features" section in the project settings — is it possible to add a backlog through some other means? I am in a company managed project.
Hello @Sergey_Blyakhor ,
It is strange that you do not have the Features section in project settings. Is your project a Kanban or Scrum project. If it is Kanban, you can enable your backlog by dropping a status in the "Kanban backlog" column located in the configuration of "Columns"?

Thanks for reaching out @Nikola PerisicHere is what I see available within this template. I did not select scrum or kanban. I choose https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/templates/new-employee-onboarding

@Sergey_Blyakhor This is Jira work management that doesn't have the backlog option. An alternative is to use the List feature that is a substitute for backlog.
Hope this helps.

Nikola

Thanks for explaining that. Is it possible to use the list as a way to restrict what appears on the kanban board? For example, if the manager only wants to display the first week of tasks on the board, how could they accomplish that?

Hey @Sergey_Blyakhor ,
This would be done through the filters. But the issue is, this filter would be created through JQL query:created >= startOfWeek() and then applied to the board. Currently, there is no option to add the custom filters to JWM.
