Hello all,
Sub-question 1 : This is a filter created by me. Before exporting data to Excel csv (current fields), I selected Columns - Filter - Done. But data in the csv has the columns of My Defaults instead of the columns in Filter.
Sub-question 2 : This is a filter created by my colleague. Before exporting data to Excel csv (current fields), I selected Columns - Filter, because I want the standard columns defined by my colleague. But it says : You cannot update the columns for a filter owned by another user. So I cannot select done and download the columns in Filter.
By the way, I'm a on-demand user without global permission yet. I'm new to JIRA.
Best regards,
Francis
Hi Francis
To change the view of columns in issue navigator, you don't have to click the "Done" button. That button is used to change the columns. Please note that the export to csv (current field) exports the the current displayed columns.
I would recommend you try below steps
If the current display column is "My Default", then press Columns - Filter, and check whether the page refreshed to Filter columns? Try export
When the current display column is "Filter", press Columns - My Default, the page should refresh to the column of My Default. Try export
Hello Daniel. I understand your point. Once we click on My Default or Filter, the data display changes, so no need for Done except when we select different columns.
But for my first sub-question, when I change from Filter to My Defaults, even though the displayed columns now are correct, the Excel export is still the same as the columns in Filter.
For my second question, when I click on Filter, it shows an orange "!" and "You cannot update the columns for a filter owned by another user". So the columns for Filter are not displayed.
Thank you.
