Cannot use the organization field in a Pie Chart Graph of my Jira Service Desk Project

For my Jira Service Desk project I want to be able to show a Pie Chart of tickets by Organisation on my dashboard.  

However the 'Statistic Type' field doesn't offer this in the drop down.

Why ?

This seems like SUCH a basic thing to be able to sort, query and dashboard by customer / organisation !!!!!

Hi @Michael Green,

Yes, so it seems. However, although you can use dashboards with JSM projects, many of the gadgets in there were originally built for Jira Software, where statistics usually support structured custom fields like select lists, radio buttons, labels, components - those things.

Organizations is a JSM custom field, and a quite specific one. And so it is unfortunately not supported there.

There is a feature request for this under future consideration: JSDCLOUD-4770

Thank you for confirming that other people have stated the bleeding obvious on this one as well - i.e. its ridiculous that a Service Desk system can't use this Organisation field.

This is a basic need I will go vote on the feature request seems like a simple easy thing to add
