Hello,
I just changed our subscription of Jira from Standard to Free, but the apps remained on Standard. I don't see an option to switch those to Free as well, only to cancel the subscription.
Is there no way to switch them to Free? They were on the Free plan when I installed them first.
Thank you.
Hi @Mircea Craciun ,
It depends on the app. Some apps are available to be free for up to 10users but most of them are all to be paid.
Did you initially have them on a free trial?
If you have a list of which apps they are and they should be free up to 10users but not reversing, you can try reaching out to them directly. But a list of the app(s) would help
It's https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6820/scriptrunner-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=pricing
and https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1224710/jxl-sheets-hierarchy-structure-sum-up-time-in-status-table?hosting=cloud&tab=pricing
They are both free for up to 10 users; we were less than 10 users when I installed them.
I will contact them directly then, but it seems like a Jira problem to me.
Thank you

You mention "when I installed them", what is your current amount of users then?

We were under 10 when I installed the apps, I expressly chose them as they were free. Then somebody in our org added a few more users and we went over 10. Then we disabled some and we are at 8 since before I created this issue. Then I had to manually change the Jira plan from Standard to Free. Yesterday, the 2 apps were still showing as payment due at next bill date, hence this issue created. As per your suggestion I also contacted the 2 app providers. Today, the billing preview shows 0 amount at next billing cycle, so either someone fixed it, or it took a while to sync up or something.
I guess this is resolved now.
Thank you for your time.
