In the past week, we have experienced an issue when linking work items using the "Add connected work" option in a work item.
If a user successfully enters one work item Key and hits Enter, that work item's Key is listed again as plaintext after the work item.
Is this an intended change? It's convenient in some use cases (like linking multiple work items with similar Key values), but pretty detrimental in others.
It appears that this functionality has been reverted and work item linking now works the way it used to. This can be closed!
HI @Dale G_
Why would you need to enter the same key twice as an example? It's been this behavior at least on my instance. Jira will recongnized the same key. If you want to add in different keys, it should not be an issue. I just tested to verify there's no issue there.
Could you give an example what's the behavior that cause a detrimental cases as you stated?

This would be detrimental in an example where I have projects with multiple different Keys which need to be a linked to a work item.
If I have 4 separate work items which need to be linked with a "relates to" link type to the work item, but the work items are:
This change makes it so that the user cannot just enter each work item and hit Enter, they will also now need to remove the text that matches the "added" work item each time before adding the next one.
