Hey,
I am currently looking at the changes related to the Jira user object as defined here https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/api-changes-for-user-privacy-announcement/.
What I am not sure about is how the privacy is set for fields such as email, display name and timezone? Is this something that is coming or the already exists?
Cheers, Phil
Hi Philip,
These settings are made by the user on when they click on their Profile picture > Profile:
On this page, they will be able to choose what they want to show and if they want to make it public, private or available only for collaborators.
The only thing that is visible even if they choose "Private" is their photo, full name and nickname.
Regards,
Angélica
