Cloning Jira Issue

Any reason why the clone is keeping the same reference number when cloning an issue? it creates a link to the same issue # as the original, but appears no clone is created.

Works fine with some issues but not all.

Thoughts??

Hi Saadiq, did you use any validators especially on create issue transition? If so, you would be hit into this bug: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-29704
