Cloning issues and getting the same status on the new issue type

hi

I am cloning issues but everytime id do the status of the new cloned issue is the first in my process. how do i get it to clone the status like the other fields. below is a screen shot of what i tried.

Hi Jon,

Cloning do not clone the value of the status, it clones every field. The easy answer is to adapt your workflow and allow a little more freedom.
