Close / Remove shared sprint in one of two projects

Hi guys,

we have two projects with two different boards and different sprints and tickets. I know the issue, that when you move a ticket from project A two project B, that already was in a sprint in Project A, the Sprint is also moved to Project B.

That issue happened now and unfortunately this sprint was started in Project A and is now also active in Project B.

Is  there any chance to delete / close / remove this active sprint in project B without closing it also in Project A?

When I try it I get the error, that there are still open tickets in this sprint.

Thank you for your replies.

Cheers, Lars

Hello @Lars Blaschka

The sprint will show in any agile board where there is an issue that fits that boards criteria that also has been assigned to the sprint. Sprints will also show up in the board in which they were created, regardless of the issues assigned to the sprint.

The Sprint from project A has not "moved" to the agile board for project B. Rather it is just visible there also.

To fix that, you must find all the issues in the Sprint that fit the criteria for the project B agile board, and remove those issues from the sprint.
