Communication Breakdown When linking confluence page from JIRA Issue MORE tab

Both JIRA and Confluence application links are connected.

When i am trying to link the Confluence page from JIRA ISSUE>MORE>Confluence page

it is showing communication breakdown error.

I can't seem to recreate this problem, so it must be something unique to your environment.

Could you please try to recreate this problem in Jira once more, then immediately navigate to $JIRAHOME/log/  In this folder will be a log file called atlassian-jira.log.   Look in this log for entries made at the exact time you tried to do this action in Jira.  I suspect there might be some more details there that might help explain why this is happening.
