Have you tried contacting the vendor of this App, to see if there's an alternative they recommend?

Not sure on the exact functionality you need, but there's Apps like...

• Subcomponents for Jira
• Calculated and Other Custom Fields - there's a shared component field
• Configuration Management Toolkit - various component functions
• Version & Component Sync for Jira

Hi,

Configuration Management Toolkit has data center version and a "subcomponent field". It is visually different than build-in component picker, but it can display the components in the projects as a new field. JQL search also works.
