Creat report showing parents and child issues.

I've been recommended JXL and Issue Hierarchy apps although neither look to be available on Jira.  Please could some advise how I can create a weekly report showing both parent and child issues?

If you want to have a weekly email issues matching a specific query, this is typically a job for a filter subscription https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-filters/ 

If you want to see the issues in Jira, you should be able to view these within a project in the Timeline view, in Plans or with an app, like JXL or Issue Hierarchy. 

Please can you go into a bit more detail about what you want to obtain?
