Cumulative Filter Diagram shows wrong status for issues that have been imported from csv file

In Jira Cloud I have an enterprise managed project / space with tickets that have a custom workflow.

For this workflow I have a Kanban board that has one column for each workflow status.

If I import issues from a CSV file, the tickets are shown in the Kanban board correctly.

The Cumulative Flow diagram however, displays the tickets as if they all have the same status. If I change the status of an imported ticket, this is also not reflected by the diagram. Here it does not matter, if I change the status directly in the ticket, or by drag and drop in the Kanban board.

If I create a new ticket in the project via the big Create button in the top menu, things work all right.

Do you have any hint what goes wrong here?

Hi @Christoph Mangold,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It’s hard to say exactly what’s wrong - perhaps the import didn't map the statuses correctly. What status does it show in the CFD report? Some screenshots would be helpful, if you can provide.

If you’re open to trying a plugin from the Atlassian Marketplace, as an alternative solution you could try the Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD) gadget from our Great Gadgets app. It’s highly configurable, can display charts by statuses, status categories, or many other criteria, and may correctly show your data.

Hope this helps.
