Tickets that have been marked as DONE a long time ago, are appearing in a newly created (active) sprint.
I have checked the ticket history and there is no indication that the tickets were manually added to this sprint.
What about those ticket resolutions?
The issue key would be strikethrough on board for resolved issues, but you can check the resolution next to issues status or in JQL if you add the resolution column.
In Jira issue is not done/completed as long as the resolution is not set, so maybe when the sprint was closed not resolved issues were added to new sprint.
