How to increase Dashboard Gadgets Limit in Jira Cloud?

It seems the same request has been raised to the Atlassian team under https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-69218

However, eventually, the team decided not to do so, see the comment from the Jira team back in 2022

Dear everyone who's watching this issue.

I know this decision may disappoint you, but after taking a look and consider about this feature request, we decided to not increase the maximum number of gadgets in dashboards. Because: such change would actually require a lot of changes in the back-end. And also, increasing the number of gadgets in our dashboard could have a considerable impact on the page's performance.

But looking at c48be19ba6fe 's comment, we understand that Spacer gadgets should not be counted in the 20 gadgets limit. So we made a change to exclude Spacer gadget from this limit.

If you don't want to upgrade to Premium/Enterprise, a good alternative could be using an Atlassian Marketplace app.

Charting apps such as our own Dashboard Hub Pro, increase the limit to 60. It could be a great opportunity to also try a reporting app and see how your reports and reporting processes could be improved.

Private deployment (server/dc) can modify this number, but Jira Cloud probably cannot.

Additionally, you can upgrade to the Premium or Enterprise and try Atlassian analytic for a powerful chart analysis experience.
