Hello community,
We have noticed that there is a delay on the email notifications.
Is there any configuration related to this ?
Could I check anything for more info/debug?
Could the reason of this behavior be anything not related to the jira software?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Hi,
as this is a pretty general question (How long is the delay?!?), I refer to:

I have tried some updates on application level, but I want to make some tests along with IT of my company. I'm not sure yet if the problem is on Atlassian app or our mail server.
I'll contact you soon,
Thank you for your support!!

The link above tells us how to setup email notifications but NOT about why they are delayed. Notifications are taking up to 20-30 minutes before we get notified via email. That would be major issue with SLA in majority of industry as incident is sitting in queue without acknowledgment from anyone for 20-30 minutes. Could be a critical issue and may not get resolved in timely manner.
So, how do we make sure or what are the settings we need to look for to receive immediate notifications upon submission of an incident report/ticket.
Thank you,
