Deleting an epic/theme label

How can i delete an epic/theme label in order to prevent any users to use outdated or by mistaken entered values. The system tells me if a label is new or existent so the user should think about before creating new ones.

While testing i recognized that only used labels are shown, perhaps there is no real database for it?

Hi Hans-Hermann,

You are right, only used labels will be shown and selectable in issues. GreenHopper relies on JIRA labels feature to provide its own Epic/Theme.

So, if you want to delete a label, you will need to remove it from all issues that are still having it.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Fahd
