Development fields missing in a Business project with smart commits enabled

I have a Business project in Jira with smart commits enabled. When I create a commit containing an issue key, it correctly has a link to Jira:
However, in the ticket sidebar, there's no Development field with links to the commit and the branch:
…and here's what I want to have instead:
I have a Business project and according to the docs, the setup is different. However, I followed it as it's written and I have the Bitbucket repo added and with Smart Commits enabled. I have the links in Bitbucket, as I've shown, but not in Jira.
How do I get the Development fields inside the Jira ticket of a Business project?
