I can't seem to reproduce your mentioned issue.
Hi Marc,
just create a new Task/Work on a board, make sure that the newly created item is in a state that prevents it to be shown on that board directly. In that moment you'll see a notification that says that the item was created, but is not yet visible here. The point is: there is no information about the ticket identifier.
When someone creates a new task, he might want to know the resulting ID directly, without the need to click around.

This seems by design. I can't find any feature request on this to be changed.
