Does JIRA Software Server support next-gen projects?

Hi,

I am new to JIRA but due to organizational requirements we plan to use JIRA Software Server.  Are the features comparable between the cloud and server?  Does JIRA Software Server support next-gen projects?  On face value, the interface looks different when using the server compared to the cloud...

The two versions are slightly different - with next-gen projects probably the biggest difference as these are only available in the Cloud version currently.

I believe there are plans to make the two interfaces more aligned (based on the Server version).

Yes absolutely, customisable screens, workflows, fields, boards, all available on Jira Server.
