Our teams are set up with their own agile boards and names (i.e. PROP, Integrate, REP). We have projects that are being worked on by all three teams so tickets are being created under PROP, Integrate and REP. Our issue is that if we use one EPIC for all tickets the tickets will only show on the Agile board that the EPIC is under (i.e. PROP EPIC - Only the PROP tickets will show up on their Agile board). The only way to get tickets to show up on the correct board and reflect the EPIC name is to create three different EPICS and link them together. This has made project management very difficult.
Does anyone have recommendations on a better way to handle this?
Thanks

Hello @Mary Kay Soto
Are you using a Classic project or a NextGen project?
I don't work with NextGen projects, so what I'm posting is based on my experience with Boards that are for Classic projects.
Boards are just a way to view issues, and what is included in the board is based on a filter. When you create a new project there is an option to create the Agile board with it, and when that is done the filter is created automatically to retrieve the issues in just that project. But you can create new filters that retrieve issues from multiple projects. You could create a filter to retrieve the one Epic (specified by Issue ID) and then also all the issues in project PROP, for instance. Or, you could add a label to every cross-project Epic, and set your board filters to retrieve all the issues in the one project plus all Epics where Labels=X. Save those filters, and then you can change your Board settings to use those saved filters rather than their default filters that limit the issues to one project.
I hope that helps you.
