Hi Team,

i am trying to use a post function after creating the issue from the user story map view.

I have a post function of "Copy Values" using the JSU Plugin.

The Plugin Copies values from the EPIC to the issue itself.

The Post function is not functioning.

I assume that the EPIC is set AFTER the Story has been created and the function has been fired.

Can i run a transition afterwards again or how to fix that?

Thanks,

Johannes

Hi, @Johannes Waldheim We need more information about your post-function so we could help you. Could you create a support ticket here: https://servicedesk-apps.beecom.ch/servicedesk/customer/portal/3/user/login?destination=portal%2F3

Thanks!

Hi Johannes,

You're correct. The story is created and then the Epic is set.

You will need your post function to be run on changing the epic field of an issue.

I believe this is possible @Denise_Wuethrich_beecom_products?

Cheers.

If Epic is set while creating the issue, then it is not possible to copy fields as Epic is still not set. But if Epic is already set and issue is being created from the Epic, then it is possible. Hope this clarifies.
