Editing release notes to get the right information.

Graeme February 13, 2025

I am currently using Release Notes in Jira cloud. I have tasks from external teams that i have linked to the releases but when I look at the release notes I don't see these linked external tasks in the notes. There is zero mention of them. Can the release notes be edited to give the information?

Hi @Graeme

Extensive modification of release notes may require Confluence integration with your JIRA as mentioned in JIra documentation link below:

Just to clarify, could you please elaborate what you meant by "external tasks"?

Hi @Septa Cahyadiputra External tasks would be tasks from another team that are managed on a separate/ own jira board but are linked to our releases on our jira board
