Email Request feature specifics

Hello,

My team wants to implement the email request feature in our next sprint. I have looked up lots of videos to try to get an understanding of it before we actually send implement it, but I still have a few questions / clarifications on things that I think I know already.

It's my understanding that when someone emails in a request, a ticket automatically gets made under whatever project the request is under. Does that ticket live only in the requests tab, or does it get automatically added to the sprint or backlog? Is there a way to move the ticket from the request tab to the sprint?

Also if anyone has any other important details or nuances that they know about the Email Request feature, send them my way!

Hello, Good day. Yes, a new Jira issue will be created on the configured project. This issue will be shown on the board backlog (based on the JQL query used on the board). You can move these issue to sprint manually. There is no difference between an issue created from web and through email. Response to the same email thread will be added as comment on the created issue.
