Estimated time didn't change when user logged time

Hi, everyone,

My case:

"Remaining Estimate" was 160h. Then user logged time 1h and "Remaining Estimate" didn't change. Why could it happen? Could anyone assist?

Hi Michael,

The remaining estimate calculation is a JIRA native feature hence we suggest that you contact Atlassian support directly in this matter. When there are problems with this calculation, only they are able to troubleshoot.

We recommend that you capture the .log and .har files as follows when reproducing and supply the files in your support request to Atlassian:

1. Open your JIRA instance in a Chrome Browser and navigate to where the problem is possible to reproduce

2. Open the Browser Console (press F12 or right click on mouse and choose Inspect)

3. With the Console tab of the Browser console selected, refresh the page and execute the required steps to reproduce the problem and wait for the entire page to load (very important, as sometimes the UI seems to be fully loaded but there are still some processes loading in the background)

4. Save the results shown in the browser console (right click and choose Save as)

5. Navigate to the Network tab of the Browser console

6. Save the results (right click and choose Save as HAR with content)
