Expiring Jira Server licenses

Arif Demir March 10, 2021

Hi all,

we have a question regardings expiring licenses.

If the JIRA Server licenses expire and are not renewed does that have any effect on JIRA?

Would Jira continue to work as usual and just stop supporting us? Or does JIRA system then go completely into readonly mode?

The same question applies to Confluence as well.

Thanks,

Arif

Jira and Confluence will work, though add-ons may not.  However, you will not be able to make use of the cloud migration assistant tools if you decide to transition to the cloud with your existing data.

Thanks for the quick answer.
This would mean that the support will be dropped but both systems will continue to run as usual?
