Exporting JSW configuration settings to another local instance

s a December 3, 2017
Hi, I've been asked to setup a new install in the building down the road. Can export my settings and projects etc to a new install?

The new installation will be local and a new set of licences

I need to keep the old setup going in our current location.

Many thanks,
S

If you want to transfer your Jira configuration and data then you can use standard migration procedure. You can read more here

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/migrating-jira-applications-to-another-server-802592269.html

If you want to migrate only configuration or part of data then you can use Adaptivist project configurator plugin. You can read more here

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.awnaba.projectconfigurator.projectconfigurator/server/overview

If you are on cloud, then you have to migrate the whole configuration and data and then delete unnecessary configuration and data.
